UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods

MyCash Dashboard has a Forex reporting capability. There can be long lead times between payment or receipt commitments and actual dates of those payments or receipts. Trading of goods between countries is, by default, subject to the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) unless the contract explicitly excludes the application of the CISG. Understanding obligations in relation to the timing of cash transactions across borders is often crucial.

Below are the countries that are signatories to the CISG as at 1 January 2026. The list is subject to change, and it is recommended that you check with the UN registry  for the most up to date information. This is an information sheet only and we recommend all parties seek professional advice regarding contracting of international transactions.
